Hi members my name is Grant and my wife is Colleen,
We recently bought our first motor home a 1996 Ford Legend autosleeper and have just enjoyed our first outing in it to Scotland.
Our son lee has recently moved to Glasgow with his work so we wanted to see our grandson and thought it was a good idea to visit them for a few days and try out our motorhome.
We live in the market town of Otley near leeds west Yorkshire and have lived here since we were born and although we have had the use of a motor home before we have never owned one.
I was really happy to find your auto-sleeper owners site when I looked for you on google and once I found you I read through some of your messages that had been posted and you all seem so friendly so we thought it would be nice to be a part of your community.
We also hope that we get to meet some of you on our travels in the future and because we have no experience of auto-sleepers we may wish to post some questions on how things work as its all new to us.

Welcome to the forum from a dreich night in Bridlington, used to call into Sams cafe Otley in the early 70's, on my way to Keighley, you could get a steak pie and chips,+ a pint of tea for 26 pence.
