It looks like I've been naughty and jumped in without introducing myself so I'd better do it now.
The name's Frank, I'm an old codger of 64 and I, or I should say we have a 1995 Symphony. Before the Symphony we had a 1985 RV50 based on the Renault Trafic and it was though this van that we got involved with the Renault Trafic Motorhome Register (RTMR) of which I am mem.sec and webmaster.
I've always loved camping, motorcycle camping, backpacking etc. and when I got wed (37 years ago) I eventually bought a second hand frame tent. From that we progressed to a Conway Trailer Tent and from there to the RV50.
We have a love of the hills (and dales) and wild places, we used to do quite a bit of hill walking but my gammy knee and Dot's arthritic hip have put a stop to that
At holiday time we take ourselves off to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland - never felt the urge to go abroad, too much in love with the British Isles.
Think that's about it for now? don't want to go baring too much of my soul
