Very quiet on the forum today, have we all been out on this beautiful Bank Holiday Monday, if so where have you been? (It's rained on and off all day here in North Wales and I've been working)

Well its rained all day here.
I have been round to see new grandchild [born yesterday] big thumbs up and then have been grubbing around doing some plumbing in the house. Either working on the floor or up in the loft. Great fun diy

Hi

We paid a visit to the RAF Museum Tangmere with some of the Grandchildren. I then had the chance of flying a Lightning Fighter (In the simulator of course biggrin ) After a quick briefing by a former Jockey (Pilot smile! ) I was amazed to realise that the loop I would be flying(or not) would take me back over our house on the Coast smile! What a great experience, especially after the Instructor gave me the allthumbz allthumbz and said I would have walked away from it at the end, albeit in Southhampton, hugegrins hugegrins When we got home I asked our elderly neighbour Jack, if he had seen me overhead, but he wondered what I was talking about.smile!

Good trip out for a few hours if the weather is not so good.

Me and Libby went up to Limavady (Co Antrim) to a Caravan Club rally (we only do those maybe once or twice a year) - it would have blown the head clean off ye and raining one minute, sunny the next but great wee break as usual.
On the way home we had sunday dinner at the top of a mountain looking over the irish sea...nice smile!
