Nuevo fresh water tank drain hose
I have just modified the fresh water tank drain tap to a lever ball valve but now the blue corrugated pipe is just a few inches too short. Can anyone advise where I can get this? It is 25mm internal diameter and is quite thick with wire in the sidewalls. It is a lot stronger than the normal plastic waste piping. Does it have a specific name?
The pipe goes from the bottom of the tank to the valve connector.

Yo
You could try Aquarists shop coldwater web sites I have bought 40mm pipe to connect from pump to filter. They do smaller sizes.

Something like as above but you don't want that much length.

Yes that looks similar but would prefer to get blue and I only need 3/4 mtr max. Will try the motorhome dealers or Contact A/S if I have no luck.

Sorry to sound dense but what do you mean by "lever ball valve" my waste tap was snapped when i got my van and ended up doing a quick replace with a waterbutt tap for time and money reasons but its v slow to drain now

A ball-valve is, in my humble opinion, the best valve type out there, its as you'd guess, a body with a stainless sphere (the ball) with a hole in the
middle, this ball is rotated untill the hole is in line with the hole through the body (open) or round until the hole is a right-angles (shut), & the 'lever'
is to operate it
This type, due to its design & simplicity, is self-cleaning as its operated & therefore seldom fails, clogs or siezes.

I used a 90 deg washing machine connector/tap as a replacement on my last van (that included a ball valve).

Just to update I called at Martins of Exeter this morning and got a length of pipe very similar although it was black and only £2.75!

Hi Harper.... This pic below is a ball valve tap fitted to our Nuevo, as Peter says you can also use the smaller ball valve tap connectors like you use to isolate your home washing machine and we had one of these fitted to our Trident when we had that as well... both are much better options than the plastic water butt type taps fitted as standard which always seem to break when they become brittle.

Now thats what i call a drain tap could also be easier to "hook up" an extra length of hose for when theres no drive over drop off.......... you have set me thinking now
