Glide Rite Battery Guard winner
I got an early xmas present this year by winning the MMM "Top Tip" for January - and it arrived this morning.
It's a fairly new to motorhomes piece of kit, although more popular in the HGV/PSV sector to cut "down time" due to "flat" batteries. It's a Battery Guard BG200 - an intelligent box of tricks which shuts off the battery if something is discharging it and to eliminate the possibility of having a "flat" battery. I recently left on the interior light for a few days (old age getting the better of me!) and I came out to a discharged battery.
I'll be wiring it in over the next couple of weeks - I'll post how I get on - reputed to be £150 worth of kit! Happy Chappie

Interesting piece of kit and well done for winning it. If you test it lets know if it does what it says on the box

Go on then!!
I know your dying to tell us!
I'll ask as no one else has bothered.
What was the "Top Tip" that won the prize?

Just a wee tip I posted on here last February - seems there's a bit of a backlog of tips to be processed at MMM Nice to get the prize though
