As a forum we have yet to have a meet of any sort. If anyone fancies marshalling one, we only need 5 vans to qualify for a club area at any of the Warners Shows and to qualify for the club discount of £2 per van. Any takers?

I'm up for a weekend or non-weekend meet . Perhaps expand it to AS owners . I don't mind travelling Cath

Paul,
Up for it but very much a "where and when" as we are on the move most of the time or just not in the UK.
Best regards,

Always seems like a great idea but organising meets not easy. I attended a huge UK Campsite meet at Pillaton 2 years ago but it took months to organise. Trying to find a location and dates to suit the majority always a problem.

Re: week end meets
The location is easy enough - any or all of Warners Shows. It just needs someone willing to marshall it whose able to arrive a couple of days early to peg it out etc. Unfortunately I can't due to work commitments (we tend to arrive on a Friday night and the shows start from the Thursday). I know Roli would be willing to advise on whats involved, so we just need a volunteer. I know many members attend these shows, some go into the C&CC area, others ASOC, others MHFun and MHFacts but lots go in the general area so those could group together as well as anyone from the groups mentioned. There doesn't have to be any activity/entertainment amongst the group, there's enough at the show.

There's a big Warner's show near me March 22nd to 24th. Great Yorkshire Showground Harrogate. I'll be going for sure. Not sure if there is any overnight camping though.

The Harrogate show is a new one for Warners but is a day-visitor show. Its the same weekend as Newark show (not Warners) which does have weekend camping.

Re: week end meets
was it ASOC ? If so its members only at their rallies. I'd been at Grange the week before and got sick of all the rain so headed back east. Was it well attended ?roli wrote:If you look back in postings you should find one I did after several requests by members about a meet. Not one reply
