Hi there,

We have a fully automatic Caro satellite dish that is good for all Freeview satellite channels from as far north as you can go in the UK all the way down to the south of France; plus all Freeview satellite news channels all the way down to the south of Spain. up!

Park up so that there are no trees to the south of us, switch on, push the button and within 2 minutes TV! allthumbz

Can't get much simpler than that. champagne

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
drinksallround

PS Backed it into an overhanging branch last month and, despite the cover being torn and repaired with Duck tape, it still works OK! Whistle1

Keep an eye on richersounds website for tv's we got one a few years ago 16" led freeview with built in dvd player and it was advertised for caravan use for £99 with a 5yr warranty. I also fitted a status 550 aerial which has been fine for a signal so far.

cheers mike, fitted to the drivers wing mirror is an ariel that points downhill, and theres a kind of stub metal cyclinder with a byonet attachment its about 2 ich in length i wondered if this might be where an ariel joins to???? cant find anywhere in the van where the tv side of the cable would plug in though so maybe not, any thoughts anyone????
