Omnistor Electric Step
Could someone with a Windsor, Sigma, Eton or Wilton or similar have a look at their electic step and see if there are any springs fitted, if so where ?
I have had a look at drawings for the step online and cant see any detailed.
I recently hit a stone when reversing which shoved the step forward. I have since straightened and rebuilt the step ready for fitting when the rain stops but have found two springs that I put in the glove box which "could" be off the step.
They are lighter than those fitted on the manual steps but I cant think of where else they came from. Five weeks away (steps damaged in 1st week) and grey cells getting older dont help either.

I've had a quick look and can see no sign of any spring either side. The steps seem to have a positive drive down and back up. You may have to look elsewhere for something that has dropped off! G

Thanks for that and a very red face on me. Liz has just resolved the problem - they are the springs that hold the green thingy on the step
