Hi everyone, just bought a '97 Symphony
We live most of the time in California, USA, and have enjoyed our VW T25 (Vanagon in the US) Westfalia Camper for the last ten years. We've just bought a 1997 Peugeot Boxer Symphony in the UK - almost sight unseen, but my son did the purchase and declares it in very good condition, with only 87,500 miles on it. The MOTs past and present bear this out, so hopefully any troublesome corrosion can be kept at bay for some years to come.
We'll be on this forum asking newbie questions - at least those where searches come up empty-handed - so please be gentle!

Thanks for the welcome. :)
I was an electronics engineer at the BBC and Thames TV/Teddington Studios before getting out of the rat-race and eventually moving to California. There I've heavily modified our Vanagon with 300Ah of LiFePO4, a Subaru engine, a CDH (Chinese Diesel heater) with Afterburner and a Bobil Vans water heater, a home-made lift on the back for a Vespa - etc etc. So I can wield a spanner or a soldering iron - but the Symphony is as yet a closed book. ;)
