Cruise control inactive on Peugeot Boxer Empty Cruise control inactive on Peugeot Boxer

My cruise control on my Peugeot Boxer 08 Symbol ES has stopped engaging. The garage fitted a new brake switch, but now say the reset is only available from a Peugeot dealership. My local one won't touch campers. 
I live nr Brighton. Any ideas??
