Greeting from the Isle of Arran Empty Greeting from the Isle of Arran

Post by DavidB Sat Oct 05, 2024 2:25 pm

Hi everyone from a very uninformed and very recent first time motor home owner.  We bought a 2004 Nuovo in the past couple of weeks and are just trying to get to grips with what we now own. We live on the Isle of Arran where I have just completed (well almost) a 5 year rebuild of our house.  I have been impressed by the level of activity on this site and hope to be able to tap into so much experience.  Our plans include Scandinavia and Italy but only once we feel confident in the vehicle - a Peugeot Boxer 2litre with 50,000 on the clock.  We had the benefit of a 3 day test drive before doing the deal so had some idea of what we had bought.

Welcome, David.

The day we planned to visit Arran turned out to be one of foggiest so, sadly, we never made the trip.

wave Hi and welcome to the forum. We intended to visit Arron when we were in the Dumfries area last but the ferry was fully booked. I should have booked it before we left but better planning next time.

Welcome from Stirling. My first classic car, an MG Magnette, came from Lochranza. I took it back for a nostalgia tour several years ago.
