Staying at the NEC
We're planning to go to the NEC show next month... but I've never tried staying overnight, so would appreciate recommendations.
One option would be the on-site 'temporary campsite'. Has anyone tried it? I might give it a go if, say, it was easy to go back in the middle of the day, put your feet up and have a cuppa before returning to the show. I could do that in the regular car parks, but it takes quite a while to get to and from them. How often does the shuttle run?
Another option would be to stay somewhere nearby, and perhaps cycle in from a campsite on our ebikes... though I fear most routes into the NEC would not be very bike-friendly?
Otherwise, I could just do the usual thing of driving both ways on the day...
Any recommendations welcome!

Re: Staying at the NEC
We stayed at Gate Farm CL for a couple of nights in Oct 23 and liked it. It was easy enough to drive to the NEC and free parking when you get there. I don't think I would want to bike it as the roads around the NEC are busy but someone might know of a cycle route. Even if not going to the NEC, Gate Farm a good site to visit.

Splendid - thanks - looks good. Though I see it's also fully-booked for that week, so you're clearly not the only one who likes it.
I'll be more organised in the future...

Hi I remember a couple of years back I was thinking of going and that there was a local pub you could park the motorhome at, CAMC prices are just to high for me
