Returning member

Hi folks,

I’ve been on and off here as a member for more years than I care to count. And im back again!

My name is Andy and I live in Sleaford, Lincolnshire. I have taken delivery today of a VW T4 Clubman GL and thought I’d reintroduce myself. 

My first campervan was bought in 2000 and was a Mk2 Transit based Auto Sleeper with the solid sided elevating roof. I’m sorry, I don’t know what the model name was. I restored the woodwork and reupholstered throughout. She was a lovely little van and the quality really impressed me. 

Since then I’ve had a variety of conversions, coachbuilt or pop top from a few different manufacturers. But I always return to the Auto Sleeper marque. 

This is my newest AS and my first Clubman. She is original throughout and, once there is a mot on her, I intend to start taking days and weekends away immediately. 

So, that’s me and my new motorhome. 

I look forward to chatting and learning more through this forum and the owners club.

Oodles of monocoque info in here, you're in good company!! (VW or Pug?)

In my humble opinion, the Clubman was the best motorhome produced by AS.
