Hi, I've been locked out of the forum for a few weeks due to a technical difficulty at my end, now resolved.
The Harmony is going well and recently been back to P&P Campers in Gosport for the last bit of internal warranty work, carried out superbly well by Daniel and the team.
Mrs H is now back out of hospital for the second time this month! Thanks to all for their previous good wishes.
She has too little salt (sodium) in her body and drinks too much water (1litre a day ?) which produces stroke like symptoms- apparently she needs a 'salty diet' -you can't win!!
Hope to contribute again soon and will try not be too much of a 'smarty pants'. wave

Thanks for the welcome back, the hospital food was unsurprisingly bad and a small plate of my egg, bacon and chips (a house speciality) disappeared pretty smartish when we got in this afternoon, washed down with the first decent cup of tea in 8 days.
On a serious note for a moment, the low sodium caught everybody out until I found out the hospital had spotted the problem when she first went in January 2011 but didn't tell anyone, grrrr !
As you say, now we know there's a problem we can keep an eye on things and get some proper dietary advice.

Hi
Welcome back, hope things go well for you in the future, Just aswell you don't live in Scarborough, the hospital food there is the worst in the Country, dispite having a top TV chef to work on the menu.
Good luck for the future.

Welcome back, out of interest would you like to share the technical difficulty in getting on the web site. No worries if you prefer no to say. Its just other members can learn from these things. One of our prolific posters had a problem with access via his mobile but between us and a bit of patience we managed to resolve the problem

Thanks for your good wishes Boaby, Brian & Chris, Mrs H was taken into the Royal Berks in Reading in 2010 with her first major stroke and the food there was OK, postcode lottery ? Unfortunately we 'emigrated' from Berkshire to Hampshire and the NHS lost us which might have pre-empted some of subsequent health issues through follow-ups etc. Something to bear in mind if you're moving.

I can't explain easily how I became blocked other than a 'threat' screen appeared after being asked to install a flash player. Even though I closed everything down immediately and ran my AVG anti-virus scan, it made no difference. ASOF admin set me up with a new password which failed on the verification screen with the funny writing. Recently my e-mail was hacked and a load of spam mails were sent out in my name with dodgy attachments. A new e-mail address with the new ASOF password on its own didn't let me into ASOF either.
I've now installed Microsoft Essentials and done a full in depth scan (takes a couple of hours but worth it) which found some buried trojans probably associated with the flash player. Those were cleared out and I still couldn't get in with the new password at the verification screen so I decided I couldn't live without an ASOF fix so re-registered with a new e-mail address, username and password- job's a good 'un.
Hope that helps, the problems started immediately after the flash player/'threat' screen incident.

Hello Terry

Sorry to hear of your problems signing onto the forum - I have no explanation for this other than a security feature recently implemented which could be the cause of your issues, it's purpose is to counteract spammers from registering on the forum. As the temporary password I gave you wouldn't allow you access with your account you really should have come back to me to test your account and investigate this further.

I would also like to take this opportunity to reassure our members that this forum is totally safe. You will not receive any kind of virus or receive spam email as a result of using this site. Members e-mail addresses are encrypted and not available to view by anyone other than myself. Anyone concerned can run a virus scan of this website using an online scanner such as https://www.virustotal.com/ and fill in the URL field for confirmation.

Regards

Admin

Edit: Terry we have looked into this and tried accessing your account and have a better idea of what the issue is now - the forum software associated your account with 'Suspicious Activity' and it was then blocked. The issues you referred to were down to the 'Unblock form' (see below) that you were prompted to fill in to reinstate your account and the Captcha code.

I'm guessing you made a number of different attempts to sign on to the forum and our software picked this up as suspicious (it could have seen it as an attempt to hack into a members account) hence the reason for the blocking action. We are looking into this to see if we can get your previous account operational again, but at the moment we also are currently unable to access it.

Hi Admin, I did reply to the e-mail with the new password that the new password wasn't working and included a .jpg of the Captcha screen that was locking me out.
I then tried the contact form but that locked me out as well.
As I didn't get a response I kept trying the Captcha code and as a bit of a novice I was obviously making things worse rather than better.
The main thing is that your security is working to protect us all which is reassuring given the bandits that live in 'tinternet world.
Thanks for the comprehensive checking and explanation.
