Interesting, do you suppose that means the whole internal layout is handed the opposite way (would be a costly bespoke build) or is the layout tolerant to simply putting the hab door on the opposite side?

I think the layout is fairly flexible. TBH, I didn't know they built them for the continental market, and whether they still do.
I'm tempted to go and knock on the door tomorrow ......

We’ve had Germans look at our van when we’re over there. They are always incredulous to see a panel van conversion that doesn’t have the ubiquitous half-dinette arrangement!

Yes, we are on our way back from 2 months touring Norway, and we have had a lot of appraising looks - the athermic glass all round is quite a head turner - and one or two asking to look inside.
On one occasion we had a wonderful pitch overlooking a fjord, and we opened up the rear doors (to 180°) and sat full length admiring the view. Norwegian came past and couldn't believe it when he looked inside!
