Rain ingress
We have an 18 month old autosleeper Burford which has started letting a lot of rain in. It has gone back to the supplier as it is under warranty. After six weeks they are no nearer finding the problem. Very frustrating as we have paid £90000 for a motorhome we cannot use and had to cancel our holiday. Any suggestions as to what we should do next.?

May I ask where it is leaking from. Is it the skylight or seams?

Yep, reject it or go to the County Court. If you’re a member of one of the clubs, see if you can get free legal advice. Alternatively, you might have something attached to your house insurance or similar.

Was it bought new? If so then its too late to reject it.

True, it can’t be a simple rejection. The Consumer Rights Act comes into play and applies up to 6 years old.

Re: Rain ingress
Looks like they have accepted responsibility so you need to have an absolute return date or take other action.

Steve… You say it’s 18 months old, but in your profile vehicle year states 2018 so which is it?

Re: Rain ingress
Profile says Broadway but we're talking about a Burford. So presume changed vehicle but still need to know if bought new and under AS warranty or bought used and under Dealer warranty.

Re: Rain ingress
Steve, if you have the legal assistance package with your car insurance, use it.
We had an identical problem and the legal assistance was invaluable in helping me take control of the situation, the legal wording to use in letters, and all the details of the CRA.
It put the dealer on the back foot and the vehicle was replaced with a new one.
Hope this helps!
