Broadway TV Location Moved

Our Broadway had a TV cupboard above the kitchen worktop which is a great idea except it’s in the wrong direction for us when lounging, so I made up a coaxial cable that exits through the side of the unit, behind the curtain pelmet & have mounted the TV on the bulkhead behind the drivers seat, it’s on a max view tv mount so it will extend out far enough to fully open up to face us if we want to sit in the cab seats so works well, it also locks into position so it can’t move when in transit, the Avtex mount that came with the Broadway which was mounted on the side of the tv cabinet was not only very heavy but pants as well. 

For power I fitted a 12v power output box behind the tv out of sight, the 2 core cable runs neatly down the corner as you can see in the photo, not even visible with the seat cushions in place & covered by the side pelmet & curtains. I fitted a 6 way fuse board under the bench where it gets its power from.

At the same time I fitted 2x double Berker USB charger outputs on separate feeds to the fuse box, & also at the side of the bench behind the drivers seat I fitted a Berker power output to power our Transcool in the event of hot weather.

We need to get rid of this imitation of only being able to post up to 3 photos at a time 

You've been busy.  Our 2019 Nuevo, which as far as I can see has the same front lounge as the Broadway EB, already came with an alternative front TV point but on the passenger side.



We lounge and sleep facing the front so it makes sense having the TV there.  Ours is a 16" TV so it protrudes less.

My 2021 EL had no provision to fix TV only to stand freely on cabinet top. TV and power point was there, but when travelling had to put it away in cupboard.

Have moved it to other side fitted bracket to fridge wall wood is very thin so had to take out fridge and make a suitable backplate. All tv ariels etc directly behind above fridge. Dont know why AS dont do this on production would save running connections to other side of van etc.

I don't know why AS don't have a mechanism for gaining feedback from their customers on their vans.  If they did, it must improve their product.
