Warwick duo paint colour
The paint and sealant around the windscreen of my metallic blue 2013 Warwick Duo have gradually disappeared over the years. I want to get a pot of touch up paint for the few mm around the screen before resealing it. The primer is still in perfect condition, just the paint disappearing. My friend's Symbol, same age same colour, did exactly the same.
Can anybody tell me the likely name or paint code of the van? - it was a popular colour.
I know it's not a perfect fix but I really don't need or want a whole batch mixing up.

Code for paint is to be found Usually on the driver's door jam lock side or hinge side or on door edge.

Thanks Peter, much appreciated. Unfortunately I can only find one on the passenger side door jamb with no paint code. Unexpectedly typing the reg number into a paint specialist came up with my shade of blue immedately. No paint code shown but I'll try a small bottlePLOUGHLIN wrote:Code for paint is to be found Usually on the driver's door jam lock side or hinge side or on door edge.
.. Autosleepers seem to be uncontactable nowadays. I've been waiting over a month for any reply to my online request for a quote for a new Remis hatch. A shame, as they used to be so helpful when (I forget his name..) used to run the service dept until he left to sell cars.
Incidentally I got a new hatch via eBay from Brownhills Newark - good price and excellent service. The hatch is identical part number to the original but totally different and I had to drill eight 12m holes in the roof - and then realised the 400x400mm hole in the roof wasn't directly above the 400ish x 400ish irregular shaped hole in the roof lining which was also cut askew.....I did laugh...if I hadn't owned the van from new I would have sworn someone had bodged the job..

Re: Warwick duo paint colour
IMHO the paint code will be of little use anyway, your van is 11 yrs old so its current colour is nowhere near what it once was.
Take it to a good bodyshop and see if they can photograph it with a special paint camera. They will then use that info to mix your exact, current, colour. Or go to a paint specialist and they'll do the same and mix you aerosols.

Thanks Ian. Yes, I realise the colour will be faded now but I really don't feel the need to take this so seriously. I only need a little touch up paint with a little brush. I've done this kind of thing with forty year old vehicles and am quite content with the results.
