Re: Gas not working in Trident
Hello, on my trident the gas valves in the cupboard are in the on position when the red plastic valve shows as across the pipe and not in-line as i would've expected. You should be able to hear the gas coming out with the cooker control turned and pushed in.

If there is no gas coming into the van it is likely to be the regulator? Have read online they have a limited lifetime and Truma fail a lot. Is there anything else that could be the problem
I am in Peterhead and cannot find a caravan repairer to do the job. One told me he doesn’t work on vans over 10 years old!
I have never been very good on practical jobs so would prefer someone else to do it. However if I cannot find someone is there anyone up here who could do it for me or is it something i can do myself?

Whatever you fiddle with on your van, doesn't really matter, but there is one unbreakable rule.....
Don't go anywhere near gas, find a gas qualified guy and get it to him, irrespective of where he is.......
Just had my hab heater repaired by a mobile guy, very gas qualified, bit far for you though, there MUST be others up your way, keep looking....
