General full time motorhome insurance
Hi, I've searched the forum but can't immediately see a related article.
This is about insurance for living in a motorhome full time. I'm interested in the Nuevo auto sleeper but this is a general topic.
As a prospective full time living motorhome person in the next 3 months I am having trouble finding insurers that cover living full time. The first question I ask is 'do you cover living full time?' and nearly always the answer is no. I did get a quote from Adrian Flux of £3850. This was based on another motorhome type valued at £30,000 which I possible have an option to buy. But my question is more general. Which insurers look at full time living on vehicles over 10 yrs old? I have had two third party fault claims both of which wrote of the car I owned (2 separate cars), no points or convictions, retired and held a licence for over 30 yrs. Seems like I'm wasting a lot of time contact companies or leaving my details only to be told they can't help.
The Adrian Flux quote is based on one of the claims being open which I have confirmed the case is now closed. The remaining claim is not present, no fault third part claim.
Thanks.

This is from a full-time motorhome website
"Despite what others may say, there is only ONE motorhome full-timing policy available in the UK. The underwriter is Aviva and only a handful of brokers offer the policy.
