Changing Vehicle Battery Empty Changing Vehicle Battery

Post by Baggiecamper Thu Jan 04, 2024 6:18 pm

My vehicle battery needs changing and I would like to carry this out myself with the physical aid of my stronger son.
The original battery is an Exide. Pretty sure it is size 19 and may be an EB950.
I am thinking of purchasing an Exide EA1000 from Tayna.
I would welcome anyone's advice and tips on fitting.
Also, I seem to remember reading somewhere that connecting a small battery to the jump start terminals in the engine bay is a good idea to keep the vehicle electronics "awake": is this true?

Thank you for the quick reply Paul. Yes that's the post that was in the back of my mind.

Any one want to propose an alternative replacement battery?
