Sold the tent
Hi Guys and Gals after our last camping trip myself and my in-house adviser decided that we (me) are getting a bit to old for sleeping on the blow up so are now looking to the luxuries of a motorhome. Have decided more or less on the Auto Sleeper Duetto/Symphony variety. Looks as though years 1996 to 1999 models would be in budget. I was wondering if there are any particularly good models made during these dates, by that I mean any extras etc. not normally fitted to standard models. Or a particular time of year when prices would be at their lowest?
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks Matt

Re: Sold the tent
Welcome to the forum from North Wales To answer your question, I'm not aware of any special editions of the Duetto or Symphony. Pricewise, I guess best deals would be had November to February as dealers want to clear stock to make way for new models and prices rise in the period before Easter as people start looking ready for the season.

A good choice, from a very pleased 1996 Duetto owner.

Welcome
Hi Matt,
Welcome from the Isle of Man.
I agree with Paul that late in the year is a good time to buy, give it another month and dealers will be offering good discounts and consequently private sellers can not expect as good a price at that time of year. There is a recent thread on dealing with dealers, try using the search box to find it, you may find it useful. Early in the year suitable vehicles may be harder to find as the best ones available will have been sold.
