Decorative Roof Bars Empty Decorative Roof Bars

Post by Monty-Plym Sat Oct 21, 2023 10:26 am

It has probably been previously discussed but I can't find it using the search engine, has anyone removed the "waste of space" decorative roof bar dirt collectors from a Warwick XL.

If so, how is it done, do the securing screws/bolts penetrate the roof and are they fixed in an encapsulated thread or is there a nut underneath.

I do not see the point of these, it is hardly aesthetic when the awning obscures the nearside roof bar.
