“My Ferry Link”
Well Folks the new Dover/Calais service “My Ferry Link” is sort of up and running …..
I thought they would have some offers to tempt us …… NO such luck I’m afraid ……..
As the other Ferry Companies want the Monopolies Commission to look into this “Set-up” (owned by Eurotunnel) and knowing the French Crews outdated ideas on “Striking” ….. Don’t hold your breath !!
DFDS is still the best at £39-00 each way (checked this morning !!)
P&O £44-00 each way (seems to change daily …. Even with so many sailings !! )
I know I’m a well founded member of “The Grumpy Club” ……. As we use to pay arouind £200-00 for our Channel Hopping in the 1980’s (Car & Caravan )
Moan over, have a good day Folks,
Brian

Re: “My Ferry Link”
£68 return on DFDS through the Caravan Club leaving 12 September. With the reasonable hope that it will run on time and the crew won't go on strike.........
edited to add - Just managed to find it in Googoo as "myferrylink". The website is still a bit rough around the edges. Probably the ferries are too after being laid up. Never liked Seafrance anyway on the Dover run.

Re: “My Ferry Link”
Hi there,
Booked with DFDS direct yesterday for 30th October.
Dover > Dunkirk - one way. "Petal" with trailer and the two of us £45.
I have been sailing backwards and forwards across The Channel for over forty-five years and I consider the DFDS Dover to Dunkirk run to be one of the best "value for money" services on offer in the UK.
Long may it continue.
Best regards,
