Quick D.I.Y cushion tray

While watching TV or reading, I'd normally have a cuppa in my hand and arm stretched along the top of the cushion.
I'd place the cup on top of the cushion, which can be a little unstable. Didn't want to take the table tops out, so came
up with a small D.I.Y fix that acts a tray. Using an old IKEA armrest tray. I cut it down to size and slipped it behind and
over the top of the cushion to create a safer "tray" to place my drinks. Quite pleased with it, so thought I'd share it.

 

That’s a good idea. We put our drinks on top of the corner cushions in our Rienza on a piece of folded kitchen roll to stop them marking the cushions.I have found other suppliers to save a trip to IKEA.

Our tray was delivered today. I split it in half making it a nice fit tucked behind the corner cushions. We havnt had chance to try them yet because they arrived after our latest trip.
