Re: 12 volt system
First thing to check with any 12v faults, especially as it's affecting more than one system, is the battery earths. Clean the connection on the battery, and also the place where it attaches to the chassis.
Then check the positive connections.
Quick note that folk sometimes forget, if disconnecting any battery, remove the earth first, then the positive. Refit, positive first, then earth. Saves you getting all sparky!
(I'm sure you know that anyway, but it's always worth mentioning.)

I can sort of understand why you might want to start another thread, in addition to your existing "12 Volt" and "Control Panel" threads, but one problem with that is that you lose all of the context of the previous 2 threads - so in theory all of the questions you have already been asked are likely to get asked again.
For example: "What state of charge are both leisure and engine batteries currently in?".
You've already said in a previous thread:
What is happening about that?

As said it is going in in August, as for different thread's i thought i was asking different questions. But maybe i wasn't. I will leave it for now and hope the dealer can sort it for me. Kevin

Re: 12 volt system
It's difficult to know for sure, but it seems that all of the issues are likely to be related.
But if it's going in to be fixed under warranty then my advice would be: don't try and fix it yourself, or they may try to blame the problem on your attempts to fix!

Re: 12 volt system
So got van back today from the dealers and as i had thought, they could find no problem with the 12 volt system or the camera as it is all an intermittent fault and apparently quite normal for an AS van, also the banging and rattling from behind the side panel above the fridge is a large cable loom that runs behind the panel and is apparently quite normal. Not sure now if i made a mistake and perhaps would have been better off keeping the leaking Lunar caravan. Kevin

Re: 12 volt system
I'd suggest neither issue is 'normal'. The cable loom shouldn’t be swinging around and banging about and intermittent faults are just that - faults.
Perhaps it’s worth considering taking it to Willersey rather than a dealer who's copping out.

This is one of the main reasons why I think of the "warranty" offered by dealers as having very little value.
Do you have the Owner's Manual with the van? If so, it may be worth doing some exploring yourself. Specifically if it has an EM40, these had a reputation for faults. So it would be worth checking the connections on it for signs of overheating or loose connectors. And also worth checking that the connectors on the underside of the Sargent power control box are firmly in place - although they have locking tabs, it's not unknown for them to fail to engage properly and for the connector to come loose.

Ok thanks for that, is the EM40 the small fuse box behind driver's seat. Will have a check around for loose connection's in box under the bed. Kevin

Re: 12 volt system
If it was factory-fitted, I ~think~ from the EM40, but I don't own a Warwick XL - I'm just basing that on what I can recall, and my memory isn't very good.
