Habitation door gas strut

Habitation door gas strut Empty Habitation door gas strut

Hi, just replaced my habitation door strut with a strut marked as 100n. Seems very stiff and worried it may be putting too much strain on the fixings? Anyone know the correct load force for this strut please?

The pressure in nm should be shown on the side of the old gas strut.
