Water from air

Seen quite a lot of this sort of thing recently.....

Maybe a good thing if you're circumnavigating the world, taking in the Sahara and Gobi deserts, or dodgy countries that don't have potable water. But perhaps an appliance too far for civilised western Europe tours.
However I like a gizmo and was quite interested till I saw the average power consumption of 350W, almost 30amps!

And it weighs ~30 kilos, dry.

Unless you're going somewhere where finding rainwater is impossible, it would make more sense to just buy a high-spec water filter?

Just thought it interesting...early days for the technology.
Probably of more use for using unreliable/ sporadic wind and solar in desert areas..
