Boxer servicing
Quick question. My Boxer , 2.2 / 130 is now 10 years old, 50,000 miles, and I read in the service book it will need timing belt change ( 10 years ). Also states ignore if fitted with a timing chain. How can I determine which is fitted? Thanks.

Re: Boxer servicing
Fairly sure 2.2 130 is chain, if you open bonnet with engine off and feel down drivers side of engine you should be able to feel chain to confirm

Re: Boxer servicing
2.2 of that age is a Ford engine with a chain.

Probably the best engine in a camper or motorhome. No routine changes of cam belt.
