Gas fill up
Do I need to get a adapter for our 2020 Warwick XL in order to fill the gas tank?
Got the tank filled up at Brownhills in Newark yesterday and the guy used an adapter. I put this down to the nozzle on their gas pipe but my wife says she's seen somewhere that there's been a change in nozzle sizes?

Re: Gas fill up
I had seen a remark about Brownhills having LPG. Glad to have confirmation. Will be going past soon and will call in if not filed up before than.

Can't say I've heard about a change in nozzle sizes. Like you, I would have put it down to the nozzle on their pump being an Acme rather than a bayonet fitting.

Hi, If you call in to Brownhills to top up, go into the accessary shop and the guy will come out with the adapter and fill for you

Apparently you are correct, Brownhills have an Acme nozzle.Dave Gee wrote:Can't say I've heard about a change in nozzle sizes. Like you, I would have put it down to the nozzle on their pump being an Acme rather than a bayonet fitting.

That more or less had to be the case, it is inconceivable that adaptors could change, there must be millions.... Mind you, there is the EU!!
