Greetings from Chandlers Ford
Hello, we are about to be the proud owners of a new to us 2016 Broadway EK LT. Put the deposit down this afternoon and will be collecting it in July. We are Chris and Gill and Bristle, an 11 year old border terrorist.
We have been looking for a suitable motorhome for ages, initially considering the 6 meters ranges from Roller Team and Chausson. I came across the Auto-Sleeper Nuevo with an over cab bed at the beginning of the week, at a local dealer, but it sold before we could get a test drive. Browsing this forum I discovered the slightly longer Broadway and happened to luck out, finding one at a local dealer. We wanted the over cab bed as it means we have plenty of options for sleeping and space to easily store bedding. I am amazed how much bigger the Broadway is over the Nuevo, 70 cm makes so much difference.
I am freshly retired so looking forward to the forethcoming adventure.

Today is the day that we finally collect the Broadway. It has been a long time, our fault not the dealers. Getting a little excited and also aprehensive about how things will go.
So far we have had a good dealer experience, even after I paid the balance last week.

Previously we had a pair and the wrong one ended up going to the vet, long story but the sickly one was taken and it turned out that the other one had become diabetic and was the source of the puddles; cue embarassed phone call to the vet, when we found a fresh puddle after dropping the dog off at the vet for the day.
We plan to travel with the dog in a crate wedged between the seats of the dinnette in the back of the Broadway. He travels in a crate in the boot of the car. Sadly there is no isofix on the dinette travel seats and although I know he would enjoy being sat up front it is a bit tough on the passenger to be relegated to the back. We hired a motorhome in Australia a few years ago and there was so much noise that the passenger at the dinette couldn't even here the radio from the front.
:) Chris.

Good luck on your collection day. I made a list of things to ask and check when we collected our Duetto but the guy doing the handover was so intent on pointing things out to us I felt silly with my list. Fortunately the minor things I sorted between common sense the forum and phone calls to the dealer.
When we bought the Rienza we stayed at a local pub overnight so a couple of issues were sorted next morning.

Re: Greetings from Chandlers Ford
Had a really good collection experience. The hand over was about an hour and a half. We found some things during that time and they were resolved straight after, including a new Truma i-net controller display unit. A couple of other things were found and recorded before I left we shall see how they get addressed.
Not the experience that comments that I had read about the dealer had lead me to expect. More about that in the appropriate forum area.
