Re: Kingham Decals In The Bin
I’ve followed Kingham’s trailblazing lead and have removed the front decals on the bonnet and above the windscreen. They were already showing signs of wear and were never going enhance the look of the van.
Easy to remove and polish out the marks they left, and thankfully done before any long term effects on the paint finish became visible.

It looks sleeker without, I have no regrets removing mine.

Shame I don't have any decals on me so I would look sleeker if they were removed

I’ve loved this topic. Nothing better than a trailblazer to find what is possible. I like the undecaled look, much classier. Mine don’t look new but are ok for now. Not the least bit concerned about deteration now as a bit of elbow grease can resolve and enhance the situation. Thanks for taking the leap Kingham.

Front decals removed , heated with a paint stripper gun peeled of and then polished , just got to get the courage to remove the rest

Re: Kingham Decals In The Bin
Removal could have a big negative effect of resale value as make the van questionable as genuine AS

Re: Kingham Decals In The Bin
I saw a van on one of the AS FB groups today, purportedly a Warwick Duo but definitely not from the outside - no pics of the inside. Their have been several cases of people taking the interior from a stolen AS and fitting it in another van and trying to brand it AS.
Trading standards have picked up one repeat offender and AS are involved with TS in the litigation process. This is from a reliable source but I wasn't given more (nor asked for more) detail.

This was a new van from an Autosleeper dealer , have seen photos of an Autosleeper panel van with orange decals on it , I would definitely remove all them
71 plate Duo, not my liking at all, definitely remove the decals

Re: Kingham Decals In The Bin
This van was posted about exactly one year ago, when new and after it was wrapped. It got a lot of comments good and bad if I remember correctly, buyer making a big deal about it. It was advertised for sale a couple of months ago on FB and obviously didn't sell. Perhaps the negative comments have proved to be correct.
For those on FB here is original post....
