What is the Alarm ?
I haven't used my 2017 Symbol for about 2 months now and it is sitting on my drive. It has been drained down including fresh water and waste and is connected to the mains supply. Both the info panel and the Truma control are both switched off. I went in it, this morning, to check if everything was OK and there is a warning 'bleep' sounding every few seconds. Both batteries are fine and the freshwater is showing empty which is correct. Any ideas what it is ? Many thanks.

Re: What is the Alarm ?
Could it be the carbon monoxide detector or smoke detector sounding a low battery alarm?

Smoke alarm? Or CO alarm? My neighbour knocked on door to tell me he could hear beep as he passed the van. Was smoke alarm despite it being a sealed one with 7 year battery but only 2 years old.

Many thanks to both of you. It was in fact the FireAngel smoke detector which was the old style with a 9V battery but sounded so much like one of the many Auto Sleeper alarms. Glad you found it, Bill. They can be really loud.
We were in a cafe recently with the van parked about 20m away and we heard a persistent beeping alarm. "Why doesn't somebody do something about it?" we said. Yes, you've guessed, it was our CO detector battery alert.

I've started disabling both alarms when the van is out of use to save their batteries. For the smoke alarm this means removing the 9V battery and for the CO alarm replacing the small wire pull-out clip that the alarm should have come with. A paper clip can be used if the original clip is lost.
