Auto-Sleeper Windrush Comments
Hi
I'm thinking of moving to a Windrush or a Nuevo. There are plenty of positive reviews of the Nuevo but there seems to be little info so far on the Windrush apart from what is on the AS website.
Does anyone have any comments on the Windrush based on ownership, test drives or viewing.
Any comments would be very much appreciated.

We have heard a few comments re condensation on the glass windows on chilly nights If it has double glazing ignore my remarks
Secondly, we are rather soppy dog lovers, with a soft spot for Yorkies (have had 2 + some cross breds) and your picture/Yorkie looks fab. Thats really my wifes comments, I'm not quite as soppy as she is!

Re: Auto-Sleeper Windrush Comments
Hi
We test drove a Nuevo and a Windrush earlier this week. We were very impressed by the Windrush but I think we have decided that the Nuevo ES is the one for us
So sometime later this year there will be a Trident City for sale......written with a tear in the eye

Hi again. The Nuevo seems to be quite popular and we are thinking of looking at one, was the model you test drove on the latest chassis (Peugeot?)
How did the drive compare to the VW?
Many thanks

Re: Auto-Sleeper Windrush Comments
The Nuevo was a replacement for the Clubman/Gatcome in the range. You should find it roomier than your Anniversary as its wider. Lacks some of the monocoques character though. Also look at the Lancashire (Marquis depots only) but still on an X250.
IMO non of the Sevils are as nice a drive as the T4/T5 with a 5 pot engine

It was the latest Nuevo 2012 based on the Peugot. I found it very comfortable to drive and actually has less road and engine noise than the VW T5 which surprised me. In fact the Windrush was more like the VW to drive being a panel van conversion and has a longer wheelbase than the Nuevo.
I agree with Roli that the T5 is hard to beat. The Trident is a 2.5 tdi and is great to drive. I use it as an everyday car and also as a tow car for a caravan. Having said that I was pleasantly surprised by the Nuevo to drive. You should try one. I'd be interested to hear what you think compared to the Clubman.

At the top of the page under the banner you will see a an envelope, under normal circumstances it reads " You have no messages " If you have a message it will say something on the lines of "You have 1 Message" or more. This is what is referred to as Private Messages or PMs
