Credit Card
I am not the most tech savvy and it seems the world is in the process of making things harder the older I get.
My replacement credit card came whilst we were away. It’s one of the ones with no numbers on it.
There must be some clever way of paying with things needing the numbers but it will no doubt mean phoning a tech person that will waffle me into complete confusion.
Managements friend spent ages swearing at her new phone tonight trying to make it work so that made feel better knowing tech things don’t work for other people as well.

Re: Credit Card
Numberless cards require you to use the banks app where you click on 'my details' to show your numbers. Easier if using tablet and phone together but if using just phone I imagine its difficult.

Re: Credit Card
I am not going down the route of apps after the struggle I had with the NHS and mapping apps recently. I am one of the No I Phone few.
Our daughter keeps asking how I can manage without being connected at all times. Yes we have WiFi when we are away but it’s for convenience rather than a need.

Re: Credit Card
I’m stating the blooming obvious but have you checked the back of the card for numbers?
My new card arrived recently with no numbers on it, I found them on the back and they weren’t very big!

Same here, had to get magnifying glass out but they are on the card. How anyone over a certain age is supposed to read them is beyond me

Re: Credit Card
My son was showing me his new cards last Sunday, didn't notice if numbers were on back but they were Metal, yes Metal not your 'flexible friend' any more. I believe HSBC, Nat West are putting numbers on back but these Internet Banks such as Chase and Mondo are numberless.

Re: Credit Card
I re read the bits of paper that came with the card and all I worked out was that I need my PIN number to activate the card. As it’s an emergency card hopefully that could be a while.
Further to this as some smarter person said I checked the back under the desk light and all was revealed. I will need my near to glasses to read that in good day light or take a torch with me.
I admit to being senior and pensionable but sometimes I think the world should think of us that are past the complicated things in life.
