Re: Kemmerton XL
Reversing camera is standard but remote control allows it to be used in a limited way as rear view camera, may have changed on newer models

Re: Kemmerton XL
When we bought our Kemerton XL I specified a display that clips on to the rear view mirror, it came with a remote. I don't know what comes as standard.
The rear view camera is powered up if reverse gear is selected when the engine is running or by pressing the remote. Yes it can be used as a rear view mirror but the camera is directed down to the ground to aid with reversing, so I do not have a distant view of the rear as you would have in a car with a rear view mirror.
Some on here have replaced the rear camera with one that may have a wider angle of view.
If I understand you question correctly, my answer is no the rear view camera does not enable you to use it as you would a rear view mirror, being able to see vehicles approaching, unless they are right up close to your rear bumper.
