French trip
Hi going to France for 3 weeks and just checked my account it says battery life about to expire. Anyone no how long until it will totally expire. It says should last between 5 and 7 years only had mine 4. But has been left in van during the winter months.

Re: French trip
I assume you are talking about a toll tag for motorways.
I use ATMB and my tag is about six years old now. I don’t think ATMB notify battery life. We are just finishing a 7 week stint in France and Spain. I deliberately used toll roads down around Biarritz last week to check my tag. Still working though I didn’t use the 30kph lanes just in case. Due for another trip in September and I shall ask for a replacement as a matter of course next year.

Re: French trip
My ATMB tag was about 5 years old which is about the battery life. They recommended changing so we got a replacement before travelling; a very efficient service.
Out of interest, for the first time ever our tag failed at one of the “30 kph” drive through gates. Not much fun reversing with lorries behind but the adjacent gate was fine. Maybe I was tailgating the lorry in front or the detector wasn’t sensitive enough. I must remember to leave more space from the vehicle in front!

Re: French trip
EMovis tag have an office in Harrogate and you can exchange your existing one for a new one there, you will get a refund on the return unit and pay for the new unit.
I think you will find a phone number on their UK website.
Good luck,
Boggie
