New Nuevo lost waste pipe and tap
Whilst driving up the A9 we did a quick stop at House of Bruar. Whilst parking the 2 week old Nuevo on its second we were approached by a very smart gentleman who advised a grey pipe had dropped off the underneath of the motorhome and liquid was pouring from underneath. On inspection the grey waste pipe and tap was missing. Trying to get someone to help on a Saturday afternoon proved impossible. I'm still waiting a response from the dealer.

While your waiting, you could whittle a near bye stick and plug it with that as a temporary measure. If your touring.
Bad luck by the way.

Unfortunately, if it’s the same as mine the waste and fresh water pipes are just push fit into the relevant tanks. My waste came off thanks to a speed bump as I left a campsite (I assume it was that as I heard a minor clunk). By some miracle it was still in the clip 100 miles later when I got home and noticed it!

Bob, reading your post again, are you saying that you actually have the waste pipe/tap that fell off?
If so, it’s a 2 minute job to put it back on if you are able to crawl under the van.

I don't have the waste pipe , it's lying somewhere south of Bruar.

My mistake, I thought the smart gentleman had actually seen the pipe fall off and given it you back!!

Both my waste water and fresh water drain pipes have come adrift but fortunately neither have been lost. I cured the waste water with PVC pipe cement and the fresh water convoluted hose with repositioned and tighter jubilee clips. With hindsight I think I should have replaced the rigid and angled waste water pipes which can be prone to blockage with a single piece of convoluted hose and jubilee clips that can be removed for cleaning.

You may find the plastic clip by the waste tap which holds the waste fitting to the bracket is not very strong, and can break quite easily, changed mine for a copper bracket for a flat strip of copper pipe. when the tap gets stiff it puts a strain on the bracket. changed the tap for a 3/4 inch straight through lever fitting.

The plastic clamp which held the tap looks not fit for purpose . Its obviously become detached and the movement has caused it to come adrift at the tank.

The body of a coach built motorhome is flexing all the time, if you glue the hard plastic pipe sections together they will fracture - replace with flexible pipe. The 270° clip that holds the drain taps in place is of that design such that when (and they do) the tap clips a kerb, the tap drops off rather than breaking the bodywork that is attached too.
I've lost a few taps that way and always carry a spare.
