Split waste pipe.
I was just congratulating myself after getting all the habitation systems, water, gas, fridge etc up and running smoothly after an 8 month layup, when I noticed a large puddle seeping out of the under-sink cupboard after I'd pulled the plug on a sink full of water.
On clearing out the mass of stuff we keep under there I discovered a split in the 30mm bore convoluted tube just as it bends under the first shelf. Age hardened I guess, the pipe not me!
It'd be a big job to replace the full length of pipe as it disappears behind the cooker on it's way to the tank, so I've cut it off at the split and I'm hoping they make a connector to refit the two pieces together.

Re: Split waste pipe.
Al: no doubt some of our Members who know about plumbing can suggest a suitable connector, but - given that it's a corrugated pipe which doesn't give much purchase for a jubilee clip or similar, and given that there's no water pressure involved - would a short piece of rigid pipe, glued inside, be the answer? By heating the ends of the split pipe they should become sufficiently flexible; then using expanding gorilla glue on the outside of the rigid pipe (which would fill the corrugations) the thing should work.

I might go that Way Cymro.
Thanks for the link Peter, I don't like the look of that connecter, a bit rigid. However a few of the rubber fittings on that page look promising.
