Trident sliding door seal Empty Trident sliding door seal

My 2002 Trident door seal has perished . They are available relatively cheaply so would like to replace . I can see that the seal removed easily from the metal parts, but where the internal lining is present it looks like it has been glued. Anyone got any suggestions? I don’t want to mess up the internal lining of the van.
