Windrush two weeks in
I have bought a Windrush due to the layout. On hook up it seems to charge the batteries but I keep getting low vehicle battery warning once taken off the hook up. When I bought the vehicle I got the warning the day after driving over 200 miles home (down to 12.2). Battery was found to be lowish at 12.5, so due to going away I just replaced it.
I suspect that it has some parasitic loss from something but surprised I am getting this after being on hook up. The alarm system is a Meta Can bus so very low draw, I have started switching off the EC500 after reading threads on here. The vehicle does have a Truma solar panel.
On site I used the Truma on low electric overnight. But the batteries reported as being healthy. New battery shows as 12.7 - 12.8 . I will keep an eye on it but getting paranoid.
Any pointers? Things to check? Get 14.2 with engine running on drive. 13.8 on the road under load after an hour driving.

Hi.
Another windrush owner. I also get the same warning shortly after coming off hook up. I searched and you can calibrate the Sargent Module which I have yet to do. Not sure if this will solve the issue.

Hi Jay,
Today a calibrated the Sargent system on my Windrush. I fully charged my batteries and carried out the battery ammeter calibration. Do a search on here and give that a try. Took 2 minutes to do once I charged the batteries (left on hook up for a day).
I also read on here it's beneficial to change the Sargent menu from Peugeot to Fiat as the low voltage alarms for Peugeot are set higher than Fiat.

If your DIY is up to it, find the wires from the solar panel, disconnect from Sargent. Buy a simple, Pwm will do, dual battery solar controller, (Photonic Universe) and wire it's 2 outputs directly to each battery via an online 10A fuse to each +ve terminal.
This bypasses anything Sargent, always a good idea Imho!!
Lots of folks on here done exactly that.

I think the solar panel goes to a TRUMA controller and then to the leisure battery. It keeps it charged even when the Sargent is switched off. So I think I would just have to run a wires to the Vehicle battery from the controller?

Yes assuming you have a dual battery controller, one OP to the VB and the other to the LB, both via inline 10A fuses at the battery +ve terminals.
Bypass the Sargent and let the solar panel/controller look after the batteries.
