Arlesey Railway Station is right by Henlow Bridge Lakes campsite, in fact you have to drive past the station car park to exit the site, but perhaps there is another new one somewhere nearby?Paulmold wrote:Henlow Bridge have had it for some time, didn't realise that was the one at Arlesey, it reported elsewhere that it was a new outlet.

Re: AUTOGAS
Thank you Paul, as always a very helpful postPaulmold wrote:I heard of a couple of campsites that have now got autogas pumps so as one goes another takes its place.
If you're in the vicinity of Stratford-on-Avon, Greenhill Park at Bearley now has it.
The other is The Lakes Arlesey Bedfordshire .
There's another new one - Asda, High Wycombe
Another at Limavardy in Belfast.
So all is not lost.
As a point of interest, there's one at Honeybourne near Evesham that also has a weighbridge. T

I’ve been using the Asda at High Wycombe for the past couple of years and I believe the taxis for much longer. Where did you hear it was also a new site Paul?

Re: AUTOGAS
It was shown on filllpg log of yesterday as being new but today it shows as deleted so I've no idea if it has or not now.

Re: AUTOGAS
Called in at a petrol station on A30 yesterday which was marked on the Sat nav as a LPG POI. There were no prices on the board outside but it had spaces for 3 types of fuel. Usually this seems to indicate they sell petrol, diesel and LPG. At first we could not see a LPG pump but wife spotted it just as I was about to drive off. I started to connect and a lady came out and asked if we could pay cash which we could do.
I filled up and it turns out that they had been out of LPG for weeks but had a delivery on the previous day. It also turned out that some of their systems were down so could only take cash and could not display prices on the board. Luckily for us the pumps were still working.

Re: AUTOGAS
When working out whether LPG is profitable, I wonder if garages take into account that Motorhome owners usually fill up with diesel at the same time, so they are losing LPG, Diesel and of course sweetie profit. :)

Great news, let's hope it is expanded to other branches. Must be a selling point for new vans, for those who buy from Marquis.Paulmold wrote:Lpg tank installed at Marquis Exeter today, lpg available from next week.
