Looking for replacement hookup socket Empty Looking for replacement hookup socket

I want to replace the hookup socket on our 1999 Duetto but have drawn a blank so far to replace the original Walther rectangular shaped item, the square ones I've found are too small for the existing aperture in the side of the van and all the rectangular shaped ones are huge most seem to be 5" x 6".
I don't mind opening up the aperture a bit if needed but feel the 5x6 one would be unsightly?
Anybody replaced theirs recently can give me a lead?
Thanks
Graham

You don't say what size you need, so may not be any good to you.

Hi Paul that looks like the wrong sex, i.e. its a socket outlet not an intake for a hook up?

Can you post a picture, Grabea, so we can see exactly what you need?

The other option could be to make an adapter plate to blank off the existing hole and house the smaller square mains socket.

Yes I had thought about doing that, I have some thin stainless sheet I could use if needs be, the plastic body of mine is aged and brittle and has already been repaired so thought it would be a simple matter to get a new replacement but it seems not!
