Battery Charger Empty Battery Charger

Hi, can any advise please what is the best type of battery charger to buy for the vehicle battery?

A Ctec or an Optimate smart charger.  The 0.80A ones will work fine given time.
Ideal for maintenance as well.

I have four Optimate chargers (I have a lot of motorbikes..) and they also work fine maintaining the bigger van batteries.
However if your battery is really discharged a conventional 6 amp or so charger will be needed to kick it into life. Halfords do loads of them.

I use one i bought from aldi for about £14 like an optimate but will do motorcycle & car batteries 12 & 6 volt
