I see that the Brit Stops guide book is now sold out and the new one not available till March
Is there a similar guide to such overnighting stops perhaps online or an app

Search for sites app or website, lists pubs and Campra aires, Ukcampsites website also . There are also websites such as Pubs with Campsites. Use any combination of terms on Google and you'll find lots of alternatives.

Brit Stops is a good way to plan . However if there is nothing where you want to be I have never yet been turned down at a pub by simply asking politely of course , if we eat & drink here can we sleep on your car park .
It’s always worth asking ! After all two people eating plus a few drinks for letting a motorhome park up .

Interesting only problem for us is at the moment we are not going into Pubs. Could take the dinner and drink into the Van of course
