What did you do with it GH?
Even if it meant a long drive back to the dealer, I would have been tempted to go back and deliver it back to them. Shocking.

Re: Marquis
We got our van from marquis Durham. We had no problems with them and any warranty stuff dealt with no probs. Our biggest issue was a Peugeot issue with water ingress, that took long time to fix.
At the time we didn’t have great autosleeper dealerships up here, and we did get a really good deal at Durham, yes it’s a bit of a pain having to travel all the way down for warranty stuff, but Durham were very accommodating and we usually made a trip out of it.
I’d say it was worth it for the deal we got, and I can’t really say anything really bad about marquis Durham. Guess it’s all down to personal experience maybe ?
I am glad it’s out of warranty now and there are places much closer to home now when we need them for any work

Well the Dorset wasn't meant to be after all. An unexpected change in my husband's shift pattern means weekend viewing for him is out of the question for the next few weeks. We've decided to call our search off for now. One positive thing I can say for Marquis is that our holding deposit was refunded immediately. Thanks for all your replies. Stay safe and best wishes all.

Up date! Our intention to remain camperless didn't last. Not an Autosleeper but will do very nicely until we retire next year then hopefully we will have more time to look for one. Purchased from 5 miles away, a tidy little 2007 Romahome! Plastic perfection. All our tick boxes ticked apart from it not being an Autosleeper. Now all we need to do is shoe-horn our stuff in.
