Truma heater
Our heater suddenly and occasionally pumps hot air on maximum fan even though heating is set to ‘off’ on our 2019 Kemerton.
We have to turn the Harmony panel power off and on again to stop it.
Any ideas?

Re: Truma heater
I recently sent this email to Truma....
I recently had new elements fitted by your agents AEG Motorhomes of Stourbridge. All seemed well but on this present trip, twice after being run for a couple of hours on electric only, the fan suddenly and dramatically increases in speed and pumps out high heat for couple of minutes before slowing down again. Is there a fault? I don't remember this happening in the past before elements failed.

Hi Mr Shaw, this is normal behaviour, it kicks in the fans higher to cool the unit when it gets too hot. Nothing to worry about

Re: Truma heater
That sounds logical, but ours starts when no heating has not been on at all!
Back to dealer I suppose.

Re: Truma heater
When you say no heating do you mean not even water heating?

Re: Truma heater
Good point as the unit may still want to cool itself. However, we can't remember if the water heater was set to on, off, eco or hot and it is just a recent phenomenon.
Will leave Harmony panel power on and water set to off and wait to see if it still occurs.

Re: Truma heater
I had the water heater on for a couple of hours early the other day, I then put the heating on at around 21 degrees and ste the fan to eco, I was surprised at how fast the fan was but it settled down after around five minutes, I guessed that this is what was happening.
Twas alright afterwards.
