Yuasa leisure batterys
I’ve got a 2017 symbol and looking at the leisure battery its a Yuasa,I’m trying to find out if it’s an original battery fitted by autosleeper or if it was replaced by previous owner.do autosleeper fit Yuasa batteries as standard when new????

This is what was fitted to my 2018 Symbol from new before it failed a couple of months ago.
Isn’t there a date stamp on the battery, I seem to recall something like that?

Sorry Alan, Hankook didn't hold its charge and was the original battery, I replaced it with the L36-EFB 12v 100 amp, slightly longer than the Hankook, mind and check your OWN battery box measurements , could be different to the Warwick duo.Alan WH wrote:Did you install larger battery as battery compartment seems big enough for larger batteryburlingtonboaby wrote:Hankook leisure battery fitted in my Warwick, did hold its charge now replaced with Yuasa from Tanya.

Re: Yuasa leisure batterys
I’d quite like to install a lithium replacement, they seem to be getting cheaper all the time and they are advertised as a drop in replacement even though different installers recommend updating solar regulator and charging system.we rarely go on hookup so a decent battery is of utmost importance.thanks for your reply’s the leisure battery is the original and it’s a hankook not a Yuasa that was my mistake it must be an age thing

Re: Yuasa leisure batterys
Looks like do not buy Hankook batteries, mine failed at 18 months, but could be due to standing around not being charged at AS and dealers, as my vehicle one also failed at 4 years.
I fitted a lead acid 110a one but as has been said above check the size and battery posts are suitable.

Date stamped on the terminals seems to ring a bell in my head?
