Van Bitz in Taunton get very good write ups. Do alarm system and trackers. Could try Outsmart the Thief who could be closer to you. Just make sure you get a motorhome specific alarm

Our 2020 van has a tracker but it needs to be activated.

Yes, the van came with a tracker fitted but no alarm system. From what I've gathered the Sergent tracker isn't the best of the bunch but who knows? We see reports and read articles so I guess first hand experience is probably the best guide!

I have had no problems with my fitted Sargent tracker.I had alarm fitted as tracker only activated if van moves (without ignition) where as alarm activated on entry.

Re: Warwick XL
They come as standard with a Sargent tracker & communication unit/module and a 3 year SIM which coincides with the 3 year habitation warranty. If you want to extend the SIM beyond 3 years you have to pay Sargent £25 per year. The tracker among other things pings its location every 6 hours so it can be seen on AS Monitor under Locate. The base vehicle also has a form of tracker which shows its location on MyPeugeot. If you want the enhanced Sargent tracking service you have to pay them £95 per year which is done through AS Monitor. The enhanced service should result in a phone call being received if the motorhome is moved without its ignition key, the leisure battery is disconnected or becomes discharged and if the alarm has been triggered. If it is established that the motorhome has been stolen the manned tracking centre at Bedford actively track it and liaise with the police until it has been recovered. Trackers do not protect motorhomes and their contents from theft but alarms do, so one complements the other especially if the alarm is connected to the tracker as mine is. My Cobra alarm was supplied from new by Marquis and works well as does the tracker. The Cobra includes sensors on the bonnet, doors and external hatch and acoustic sensors inside the motorhome. A loop can also be provided to protect bikes on the rear rack. The Cobra is armed and disarmed using the Peugeot remote key fob whenever the van is locked and unlocked. An additional remote is also provided.Sapper wrote:Yes, the van came with a tracker fitted but no alarm system. From what I've gathered the Sergent tracker isn't the best of the bunch but who knows?
