Hello Auto-Sleepers
Hello,
We have just joined your forum but we have had our Nuevo ES 2004 since October last.
Our first trip was as few days around Dorset, v nice.
Our second trip was to the Costa del Sol, ferry to Santander and a fabulous drive the rest of the way. For newbies I guess you must think such a journey for a second outing is madness but is was forced on us by a need to visit a very poorly family member down in Spain and (as you all must know) what safer way is there to travel in the current times. The van was fantastic and (given the circumstances) the trip was very enjoyable (apart from the bit on the boat, the bay of Biscay in November...... erghhh never again!).
Many years ago as a child (back in the stone age) my parents were very keen motor-homers, to the extent that my Dad once carried out his own conversion based on a Commer van. We toured Scotland and Canada in various vans and RVs, so I guess its on the blood.
For my wife she is new to the whole experience but is amazed at how the van is so efficiently designed, it is really like getting a quart into a pint pot.
We are excited to have my own Autosleeper now and to be able to head out on some new adventures. The road leads us on...
